JULIE LAWRENCE

Julie has returned to her art practice after many years in special education teaching. Her background qualifications include a BA first class (Hons) in Art with Theology and Religious Studies and she holds an MA in fine art from the University of Chester.

Julie’s work is rooted in the painting language of Romanticism, and she has has exhibited widely across the Uk. She has also gained some national recognition including a prize winning run at the Mall Galleries in London.

Local publications and features about Julies work have included an on- line spotlight ‘Landscapes by Women artists on the Wirral today’ on the Lady Lever Gallery/Liverpool museums website, ‘The Drawing Paper Show’ 9th edition and she was recently the featured artist for ‘The Liverpool Noise’ June ’25 creative spotlight interview with Steve Kinrade; ‘A Landscape of Light and Memory’….
