After my time as an art teacher in Liverpool, I began illustrating for greeting card companies. These included the Medici Society, Book Tokens Ltd and Hanson White Accord among others. Since 1990 I have been a fiction illustrator for women’s magazines. These include The People’s Friend, My Weekly, Woman’s Realm, The Lady and publications in Norway and Sweden.

After thirty five years I am still working with The People’s Friend and making lino prints when I find the time. I also enjoy making wildlife art which I usually do using pastels or coloured pencil.
