MembersI am a photographer and many of the images that I take are of patterns and textures. These can be found in a variety of natural sources such as plants, clouds and water, together with man made materials such as rusting metal and peeling paint. Some of the subject matter is on a very small scale and may be just a few centimetres across.
My current passion is to combine multiple images together digitally to blend the patterns, textures and colours. The results are an intriguing form of abstract art that doesn’t usually look like a photograph but has a more ‘painterly’ appearance.
My images are printed directly onto di-bond aluminium panels and presented in a large format (typically about 1m wide) and in a limited edition of 10.
I exhibit regularly as part at the Wirral Open Studio Tour and Liverpool Art Fair
