Peter Davis is a prizewinning figurative painter who documents modern life through urban landscapes and contemporary portraiture. In 2018, he had a solo show at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery and, in 2020, he was selected for the John Moores Painting Prize (at the Walker Art Gallery), the equivalent of receiving an Oscar nomination in the art world.
The majority of Peter’s paintings include someone absorbed in their personal technology. His compositions move from busy streets and quiet alleyways to the solace of his studio, each vignette a story of our time, of people going about their everyday lives, technology in hand.
