Artist’s statement

I live and work on the Wirral.  Like most painters I am inspired by many artists who have contributed to the “Grand Tradition” of European Art.

This appreciation has been shaped by several years’ experience cleaning and restoring paintings, frames and producing decorative work for the antiques and interiors market. I try to bring these influences to bear as I develop my work.
