David Brown is a painter in oils. Sketcher in pencil and ink. Work is mainly portraits, nudes and townscapes.

Liver Sketching Club – Secretary, Archivist, Class Leader and President in 2013, 2007 and 2005.

Author of ‘The History of the Liver Sketching Club’ [2013] and ‘The Liver Sketching Club’ [2016]. Biographer of artists linked to Wirral, Liverpool and North Wales. Researcher – especially involving local artists. U3A Art Appreciation Co-ordinator. Collector. Curator. Producer of the ‘Arts Newsletter’.
