Artist’s Statement

I live in a 17^th century cottage studio in rural Wales surrounded by my atmospheric, poetic and abstract landscapes on canvas.

My work is inspired by the mountains, fields and sea. I love colour and the joy and excitement of putting colours together using acrylics, inks and mixed materials working on canvas or paper, recently 3D work. I am interested in natural forms, emotion and the suggestion of landscape.

I have a B.A.(hons) in fine art/painting and a PGCE in Art and Design.
